Pictures on this site come from four places, and only one of them is somebody else's licensed work. This page credits that one.
Where a venue publishes no photograph of an item, a listing may show a freely licensed photograph of the category instead. Those are labelled Stock image on the card — they show what the dish or drink generally looks like, not what this venue serves. Each one is used under a Creative Commons licence and is credited below.
These licences require the author, the title and the licence to be named.

These carry no attribution condition at all. They are credited because saying who took a photograph is the decent thing to do, not because the licence asks.

The venue's own photographs. Most listings show a photograph taken from the venue's own website or ordering menu, used to identify the business the listing is about. Those belong to their owners — see the Terms of Use, which also says how to have one removed.
Product photographs. A listing that names a brand may show that maker's own photograph of that product. Each one is recorded against the basis on which it is published, and a product whose basis is not recorded is not shown at all.
Illustrations. Anything labelled Illustration is a drawing made by an image-generation model, not a photograph of the dish. Most were drawn by a model running on our own machine, from the ingredients the venue itself published; a few were made with an external image tool and reviewed by us before they were shown.
If you took one of these photographs and the credit is wrong, or you would rather it were not used, write to stoonspecials@gmail.com and we will correct or remove it.
